If you searched for 28 Grains atta, you probably saw our name on a friend's kitchen shelf, a social media post or a shop listing and want to know more. This page is the straight answer: who we are, what we make, what it costs and how to order.

Who we are

28 Grains is an independent atta manufacturer based in Subhash Nagar, West Delhi. We focus on one thing: making high-protein atta that Indian families can use every day, exactly like their regular flour. We are not a reseller or a marketplace brand; we make and pack our own products, and we also supply businesses through wholesale, distribution and private-label arrangements.

You can reach us directly on +91 88128 00000 or at info@28grains.com. We like talking to customers, and a lot of our product decisions come from those conversations.

What is in 28 Grains atta?

Our core product is protein atta. It starts with whole wheat and is blended with plant-protein sources such as wheat protein, soya and pulses. It is 100% vegetarian and plant-based.

The headline number is 46 g of protein per 100 g of atta. For comparison, regular whole wheat atta has roughly 10–12 g per 100 g, so our atta carries about four times the protein. You can read what that means for your plate on our 46 g protein atta page.

A quick clarification we get asked often: "28 Grains" is our brand name. For the exact ingredient list of any product, always check the label on the pack.

How 28 Grains atta behaves in the kitchen

We designed our atta to fit into your routine rather than change it. You can make roti, chapati, phulka, paratha, puri and thepla just as you do now. Two small tips help:

  1. It may need a little more water than regular atta, so add water gradually.
  2. Rest the kneaded dough for 10–15 minutes before rolling for softer rotis.

That's it. No special tawa, no new recipes.

Customers often ask whether the dough can be kept in the fridge. It can, just like regular atta dough. Store it in a covered box, use it within the time you normally would, and let it come to room temperature before rolling. If the dough feels a little firm after refrigeration, knead it briefly with a few drops of water. For parathas, a small spoon of ghee or oil in the dough keeps the layers soft, and stuffed versions such as aloo or gobhi work well. Theplas for travel and puris for festive meals can be made the same way.

Who uses 28 Grains atta?

Our atta is used by everyday households who want more protein in home food. Typical buyers include:

  • Vegetarian families wanting an easy protein upgrade
  • People who work out and prefer food over supplements
  • Those trying to eat more filling meals while managing weight
  • Cafés, tiffin services and health-food stores that stock or use protein atta

What these buyers have in common is that they want a simple change, not a complicated diet. Swapping the atta in the dabba is about as simple as it gets.

If you have a medical condition, especially related to the kidneys, please speak to your doctor or dietitian before increasing protein in your diet.
